Here we are at that point in summer where it is dark out when I wake up at 5:00. The seasons are in the process of changing once again. I complain every year about losing my grip on summer, but in reality, I do cherish having four seasons every year. As nice as it is to sit on the back deck and work all day, I might not appreciate it as much if it were my day-in, day-out all year long. One fact of the seasons changing I could do without is the highlight of pumpkin spice everything happening in a few short weeks. Sigh, it will be okay and this too shall pass.
If you notice any sort of pattern like the seasons, you are probably aware it is a podcast week. This week's episode was three years in the making. I first talked with Dave Jachter of Jachter Family Wines (@jachterwines) back in 2021 over the phone. He had some incredible stories and probably the best one is how Jared Etzel became the winemaker for Jachter Family Wines.
What better connection to Dave than to bring a wine made by Jared! Are you subscribed to the Weinnotes podcast via YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify?
