After an incredible birthday celebration, how does one continue the festivities? Well, my motto is to keep indulging in wines for the entire Birthday week! I absolutely love the memories, people, and the atmosphere at RR Wines (@ribbonridgewinery)! The first time I visited was with a fantastic group of friends when COVID restrictions eased up a bit. We were all being cautious, but it was such a joy to finally spend time with people face-to-face. As these moments turn into cherished memories, let's not forget the importance of human connections. Last year, I had the pleasure of tasting at the adorable Ridgecrest Cottage and it exceeded all expectations! If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend making an appointment soon. They currently offering a unique Library tasting experience with 17 vintages starting from 2003 for you to choose from. I haven't come across anything quite like it in the Valley. It's truly special, so definitely check it out! For my glass tonight, I've chosen the 2007 RR Wines Pinot Noir. I'll never forget when Wynn delivered a 13-year vertical of their wines to my doorstep during COVID, and this bottle is one of them. It's still absolutely delicious, and please excuse me for delving into it further.
