Tasting Notes

Holy Toldeo Batman, Christmas Eve is already here! It's hard to believe that the year is almost over and the 60th episode of the podcast will be airing on Thursday. Throughout this year, I've had the incredible opportunity to interview some truly amazing individuals in the wine world. I'm eagerly looking forward to what 2024 has in store for us. This Thursday, we have a special interview lined up with Ben Parsons from The Ordinary Fellow (@ordinaryfellowwines) in Colorado. Ben has some captivating stories to share about the inception of Urban Wineries and the introduction of canned wine at the Food and Wine Classic in Aspen. But that's not all! Make sure you're subscribed to our YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify channels to be notified as soon as the episode is released! The 2022 Ordinary Fellow Colorado Hawk's Nest Vineyard Pinot Noir has a stunning red color when poured into the glass. A pleasant nose full of fruit transitions to a delicate mid-palate with hints of light oak. The tannins are integrated nicely, creating a smooth, elegant finish. It's worth mentioning that the Hawks' Nest Vineyard is located at an impressive elevation of 6,800 feet. The bottle states that the alcohol by volume (ABV) is only 12.4%. It is mindblowing from an Oregon perspective that Pinot Noir kicks some major patootski at 6,800 feet. Colorado wines are something to keep an eye out for! 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 Trying to keep up with the events happening in Wine Country can be a full-time job.
