Tasting Notes
To think we are in the second half of 2023 is mind-boggling! This year has flown by, and the only logical reason is that it has been one heck of a year!
One of the things I have yet to do this year is visit Dion Vineyards. Their old vines Pinot Noir always stand out along with their Pinot Gris. What got me hooked on Dion is none other than their Sparkling wines! The wedding Tree Cuvee is one of my favorites, but tonight it was all about the 2019 100% Pinot Noir Rose Flight of the Hummingbirds Sparkling.
Sitting down and talking with Beth, Sara, and Kevin is always a blast! Seeing hawks fly overhead, petting the vineyard dogs, and simply sitting to enjoy the vast vineyard is always relaxing. If you haven’t been out to visit Dion yet, it is a winery to check out!
