Tasting Notes

Yes, I know it is hot outside and a Pinot Noir might not be the first thing that comes to mind on a day like this, but this is not just any Pinot Noir. This one is special. Why is it so special? Because when you have a great backstory paired with a wine this good, the temperature outside simply does not matter. Susan and Danny met in college. Danny followed Susan to Paris. By pure chance, Danny ended up attending the Hospices de Beaune wine auction. That is just the beginning. There is so much more to their story, and you need to sit across the table from Danny to truly feel his energy. His enthusiasm for wine is unmatched. The wine in my glass is the 2022 Estate Pinot Noir, and it is beautiful. I have a bottle of the 2021 that I promised Danny I would not open until 2033. Waiting eight more years will be tough, but I know it will be worth it. When you are in Carlton, make sure you stop at Lonesome Rock. You will leave with more than great wine. You will leave with a story and an experience you will not forget. 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 Would you like to get a Saturday morning email once a month to read with your coffee giving you insider tips on events, news, and an in-depth perspective on a winery?
