Tasting Notes
Are you ready for a special guest on the podcast tomorrow? Alison Frichtl Hollister is the winemaker for Hall, Walt, and Baca Wines. I rarely get to talk with California winemakers, and what a treat it was! Be sure to subscribe to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube (links in the bio) and take advantage of every episode.
The 2021 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir from Walt Wines was quite nice! Pouring this wine into the glass, I see something special about this Pinot. The velvety stream of dark red fruit comes through loud and clear. Clover, spice, and everything nice on the nose. Smooth, silky entry. Minor tannins after the finish. On the finish, breathe in and feel every bit of this finish over and over again. So, incredibly joyful!
