Tasting Notes

Oh my goodness, where is the wine bottle? I have been waiting since the summer of 2021 for Sparkling wine from Arabilis (@arabiliswines) and was incredibly fortunate to get my hands on a couple of pre-release bottles. If you are not aware, an Oregon Sparkling Revolution is occurring. We will see so much more Sparkling in the next couple of years. It is from all the rumors I started the past few years 😏 The 2020 Arabilis Extra Brut Willamette Valley Sparkling has been well worth the wait! It spent 35 months on tirage with a blend of 67% Chardonnay and 33% Pinot Noir. When I first tasted this, I thought for sure it was a Blanc de Blanc (100% Chardonnay). Once I was told it had some Pinot Noir, I reevaluated. I was still on Cloud Nine but could detect the Pinot ever so slightly. I do enjoy trying to figure out the blend in a Sparkling. If you still need to get Arabilis on your radar, now is the time! I have kept in touch with Arabilis for almost three years, and they are doing a stellar job on all fronts. 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 Trying to keep up with the events happening in Wine Country can be a full-time job.
