Tasting Notes

The Snowcololyse is indeed real and present. When I visited Fred Meyer this afternoon, I noticed that everyone was stocking up on bread, milk, and eggs. Interestingly, there seemed to be a lack of wine. I wonder if people already have enough of it stored in their cellars? Allow me to introduce you to Meg's 2021 Cab Franc from @flipturncellars, which hails from the Yakima Valley in Washington. Personally, I always find it intriguing to try a Cab Franc because I don't consume it often enough, and it never fails to surprise me. Meg's Cab Franc is no exception. In the glass, you'll find a deep red fruit that eagerly awaits a sniffy sniff, where you'll discover a medley of fruits infused with a touch of green pepper, a characteristic of Cab Franc. I particularly relish the initial taste of this wine. It is smooth and velvety, leading to a mid-palate bursting with fruit flavors intertwined with a hint of tannin, making it a perfect accompaniment to a dinner pairing. 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 🍷 🗓 Trying to keep up with the events happening in Wine Country can be a full-time job.
