Tasting Notes
I may or may not have gone up to Washington for the annual trek of procuring explosives for the best holiday of the year, the 4th of July. I have been going up to Washington with my stepson for the past 15+ years. There have been years we have gotten the real illegal boom booms, but not this year. If we got anything that goes more than 20ft in the air, I would be surprised. Both of us love “the cones.” They are cheap, last a long time, and create a great display!
When we got back to the house, I introduced him to a White Pinot from @eleveewines . He was a little blown away it was made with 100% Pinot Noir. To see his fascination while geeking out over wine made up for the absolute stupid crazy heat while waiting in line to check out for fireworks. I hope you are staying cool!
PS - We shoot off fireworks in a cul de sac and are super crazy careful. The last thing I want is to start a fire.
