Ok, who sat down to plan out these wine holidays? Yesterday was National Wine Day. Today is National Chardonnay Day, with both holidays during Oregon Wine Month. I am doing my level best to keep up over here! How are you holding up? I decided to open a bottle from 00. I seriously am hoarding every single bottle and won’t even allow myself to think about them. If I could put on a shock collar on myself every time, I reached for a bottle, who knows what sort of mental issues I might have. It might be worth it, though. When I popped the cork on the 2017 VGW, my sniffer was easily a foot away, and I could smell the scrumptiousness oozing from the bottle. Pouring the liquid gold into the glass, I swear floral aromas filled the room. The dogs were looking up at me, desperately wanting me to share.
