Tasting Notes
There are a handful of vineyards that perk my interest. Fennwood is one of those vineyards. I don’t know what makes Fennwood different, but for me, there is a distinct funk to it that gives it a special place in my heart. You might correlate funk with earth tones, and there is some earthiness here, but it is much more complex. There is a spice that grabs you on entry, carries you through mid-palate, and doesn’t disappoint for a long, satisfying finish. If you can get your hands on anything from Fennwood, grab it!
