Tasting Notes

Tonight I am enjoying this Nanfre Valpolicella from Italy. 70% Corvina and 30% Rondinella grapes. When I opened this bottle six hours ago it was so intense on the nose and on the palette I was completely unsure I would continue on with the tasting. So glad to see this calmly down, but the nose presents with intense red fruity flavors. On the palate I get sour cherry flavors with medium acidity without much body. Even though the finish is next to nothing, I am left with a refreshing very tannin feeling waiting for the next sip.
