Tasting Notes

It seems like I just finished a week of podcasting and now we're back again with the announcement of the next episode of the Weinnotes Podcast! On Thursday, we'll be joined by Grant and Renee of Hundred Suns Wine (@hundredsunswine). Sitting across from these amazing individuals whom I've been following for a while was truly an honor. Going deeper into their story was beyond belief! If you haven't already subscribed to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube, now is the perfect time. Plus, this episode happens to be released on my birthday 🎂 Now, let's talk about the wine. For this episode, I chose the 2019 Walter Scott (@walterscottwines) Gamay Noir from the Arlyn Vineyard (@arlynvineyard). Usually, I try to find some kind of connection with the blind wine I bring. I have to admit that this time I didn't have a strong connection, but let me tell you, Grant absolutely nailed it. Right from the start, he guessed it was a 2019 Gamay Noir, and towards the end, he even identified Adelsheim as the vineyard. Just so you know, Adelsheim is located less than a block away from Arlyn. You have to watch Grant unravel this wine. It was truly magical! 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 Would you like to get a Saturday morning email once a month to read with your coffee giving you insider tips on events, news, and an in-depth perspective on a winery?
