Tasting Notes

The temptation to sit on the back deck this afternoon was real! The sun was out, and there was no rain. However, the temperature was a weeeee bit chilly to sit and work on the back deck. So instead, I got comfy on the couch and started the newsletter for Saturday with two dogs joining for a delightful afternoon. Tonight’s wine is a prelude to Saturday morning’s email. The 2019 Iterum Arlyn Vineyard Pinot Noir is one of a few curated wines Joe Dobbs is releasing under his new label, Iterum. I was fortunate to sit with Joe a couple of weeks ago while tasting his wines. He is a fantastic man! You should sign up for the newsletter to get all of the details! One of the many facets I enjoy about the 2019 Iterum Pinot from Arlyn is that it’s from Arlyn. Who doesn’t want to taste more fruit from Janis? On the nose, there are signs of a classic darker Pinot giving hints of the dark red fruits. From entry to mid-palate, the silky sensationalism slightly brings the hair on your arms to attention, accompanied by a fuller body but not overpowering with tannins. Super enjoyable through and through! 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 Would you like to get a Saturday morning email to read with your coffee giving you insider tips on events, news, and an in-depth perspective on a winery?
