Tasting Notes

Saturday night calls for reaching for something in the off-limits area. The week has blown by, and I can’t believe it’s Saturday night already. I also can’t believe I missed National Pinot Noir Day. What is wrong with me! A few highlights would be sending off orders of my t-shirts, my daughter being absolutely exhausted from a week-long ballet intensive, and feeling the cold crisp air on my face while bike riding. Do you have any highlights from the week? I reached for a 2019 Equal Play from Arlyn in my off-limits area. Janis created this label to help with equality in the community and donates a portion of the proceeds. I know I shouldn’t be drinking a 2019, but when I first grabbed a 2017 Running with Scissors, I couldn’t bring myself to open that one. I want to hold onto those bottles for a long time! Lastly, if you haven’t visited Arlyn yet, make a reservation. There is nothing better than sitting next to the vines, chatting with Janis, and visiting with Miss Cooper, Pearl, and all of the other farm animals. It is one of the most unique tastings in the valley! . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter. Link in the Bio! 🍷
