Tasting Notes
Today is National Star Wars Day, May the 4th be with you. I think it is also National Star Wars Lego day. Thank goodness my Lego obsession doesn’t extend to Star Wars; otherwise, I would probably be living in a series of cardboard boxes filled with wine and Legos. If I were living in cardboard boxes, there is no way Globgor could enjoy tonight’s wine from Alexana. It is the 2018 Single Clone Pommard. I tried to get tasting notes from Globgor, but all I heard was bark bark bark. I interpreted this as “More, More, More, More.” Fortunately, there was a bit left after Globby destroyed the bottle for me. The Single Clone Pommard drew me into Alexana, and the 2018 is gorgeous. I know some people don’t enjoy single clone Pinots, and I agree it does provide a nice variety to have multiple clones, but Pommard, oh me, oh my.
