Tasting Notes
I am shocked I don’t want Pinot tonight. I might be coming up on a burnout of some sort. Nah, not possible! Tonight I decided to open the 2018 Reserve Chard from L’Angolo. To say this hits the spot tonight is an understatement. I finished cleaning up my garage today and got all the sawdust out finally. I have been living with the sawdust for way too long!
Here is what I am enjoying about the Chard. Taking a sip and letting it swirl around in my mouth with my eyes closed allows me to enjoy the oak and vanilla mid palate continuing for an excellent long finish. Now, don’t think because I said oak, this is oaky and buttery. This is solid and amazing.
Oh, and yes, I am a TN Vol fan. Go Big Orange!
