Tasting Notes

Time to revisit! Back in March, I visited Kings North for the first time. I remember how delightful it was to be outside soaking up the sun even though it was still a tad bit chilly. When I made my reservation for next week, the enthusiasm Mac conveys via email made me excited to come back out. Kings North is a whole family operation with Mac and his brother Sid killing most of the winery duties. Don’t be surprised if you see other members of the family helping out during your tasting. Mac and Sid like to change things up a bit with their wine selections, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Tempranillo, and a Nebbiolo. Who in the heck do you know does a Nebbiolo in the Valley? The 2018 Luminous Hills Pinot hit the spot after another week of waking up and sprinting to the end of the day. There are so many vineyards I enjoy, and Luminous Hills is one of those vineyards. I should have taken the time to write my thoughts about the wine, but I was tired and simply wanted to relax. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy it more later this evening! . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter. Link in the Bio! 🍷
