Tasting Notes
It is getting darker earlier these days, meaning summer is starting the transition into Fall. However, I feel like I am just getting a summer rhythm and will hold onto summer until October this year.
Tonight I opened the 2018 Lionne Chardonnay from Arlyn. I can’t remember the last time I had this bottle, and so glad I have more bottles waiting for me. Right off the bat, the acidity grabbed my attention. But going a bit deeper, a spice gently grabs your attention on entry traversing into a nice long finish. It’s thoroughly enjoyable, especially for a wonderfully hot summer day.
