Tasting Notes
There are days when everything is planned, and everything goes to plan. On other days, nothing on the schedule occurs due to some unplanned of coding issue needing immediate attention to troubleshoot. Today was a day when nothing went according to plan. Nothing might be a harsh word to use. However, some events transpired according to plan.
Tonight’s bottle is the 2018 In Good Faith from Arlyn. When I opened the bottle, I was immediately taken back to sitting in the vineyard overlooking the valley with the unparalleled peaceful silence I needed today. The wine brings forth a nose where the slightest of spices combined with medium red fruit takes the stress out of the shoulders a bit. Those medium dark fruits transition into warm dark deliciousness mid-palate, giving way to an extended finish full of spice accompanied by those deep dark red fruits. Here’s to hoping tomorrow’s plan is way better than today!
