Tasting Notes

The weather seemed to be in perfect harmony with my plan to uncork a delightful Sparkling today. It truly feels like Spring is in the air, and I am eagerly awaiting its full arrival! Opening a bottle of Sparkling during the week is always a special treat, and my initial sniffy sniff of the 2017 Syncline Blanc de Noirs Ceilio Vineyard Columbia Gorge instantly brought a smile to my face. The effervescence was unmistakable on the nose, and despite this being a 100% Pinot Noir, I was pleasantly surprised by its smoothness. The acidity is impressive, with only 220 cases of this wine produced. At just 12% ABV and with the Spring weather outside, I have a feeling this bottle will be enjoyed quite easily. Syncline is now on my list of wineries to explore, and I recommend you do the same!
