Tasting Notes

Welcome to taking pictures at night because it’s not summer, and the sun doesn’t stay out until 9:35 pm, and can I make a run one sentence to keep going and going?????? How often do you pay attention to the difference in a bottle of wine between day one and day two? When you share a bottle with someone, it can be tough to have it last two days. So let me persuade you to try and explore a bottle over two or three nights. The 2017 Elton Vineyard from Lavinea showed signs of the slightest bit of forest floor yumminess on the nose and mid-palate last night. Unfortunately, I get zero forest floor tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed the wine both nights, but there is no way I would have guessed this was the exact wine if given to me blind on day one and day two. 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 Would you like to get a Saturday morning email to read with your coffee giving you insider tips on events, news, and an in-depth perspective on a winery?
