Tasting Notes

It’s nasty outside! Driving down 205 today wasn’t exactly fun, but looking at the good side of life. I am home, it is warm, and I have a great wine to enjoy for the evening! The 2017 Elevée Vineyard Pinot Noir hits the spot on so many levels! First, we have to mention France, Tom, and Four. France makes the best bites to go along with tastings! She also kicks patootski when it comes to back office operations. Tom is driven by the terroir and his desire to showcase the different strengths of vineyards. If you don’t know Four, you need to visit to learn more! I opened this bottle last night, and here is what I see today. In the glass, it is dark red with a ruby-colored rim. On the nose, there is the slightest hint of forest floor funk intermingled with some darker red fruits. On entry and mid-palate, there is a greeting of those dark fruits and a solid structure of acidity and slight tannin. I enjoyed my small glass last night, but tonight is much more pleasing. I can’t wait to relax on the couch listening to the rain blowing sideways and pretending I am at the coast with the 2017 Elevee Vineyard Pinot Noir. 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 Would you like to get a Saturday morning email to read with your coffee giving you insider tips on events, news, and an in-depth perspective on a winery?
