Wine Wednesday is finishing off a 2017 Ayoub Anonimo from last night. This was my rain dance wine for . I remember delivering Ayoub bottles in the spring and it was pouring that day. Fingers crossed for rain.
The other bottle is 2014 Fennwood from Alexana. Awhile back I had a 2018 and it reminded of a Cab even though it's a Pinot. The 2014 doesn't remind me of a Cab, but I adore the complexity of this bottle. It hits you mid palate with dark cherry and the finish is a crazy long spice.
