Tasting Notes

I am taking a break from Bubbles tonight. On Friday, I got to sit down with Andrew Voit of Harper Voit to taste some fabulous wines. The energy Andrew has surrounding wine, along with his vast knowledge, is awe-inspiring. I will be going into more detail during one of my newsletters in the upcoming weeks if you want to know more. If you haven’t heard of the Antiquum Vineyard located on the outskirts of Eugene, it is definitely one you should check out. I know you have heard of Organic farming, and there is a good chance you have heard of Bio-Dynamic farming, but have you heard of Grazing-based viticulture? It is a farming philosophy to check out, and again I will dive further into this during my newsletter in the coming weeks. The 2017 Antiquum Vineyard from Harper Voit is magnificent! Beautiful red fruit hitting you mid-palate with hints of spice for a super long finish. The acidity structure of this wine is firmly in place to allow this wine to age for quite some time. . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter.
