Tasting Notes
Day 22 of Oregon Sparkling!
Can you believe there are only 5 more days left of Oregon Sparkling? It kind of feels like the countdown to Christmas, and before we know it, poof, it will be done. It’s been quite a journey so far, and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
When I first sipped the 2016 RMS Brut from Roco, I was blown away! I won’t forget sitting on my back deck with the tiki torches lit, enjoying summer and marveling at the magic in my glass.
🥂 Fact
Saignée means ‘bleeding’. It’s another chance to show off: this is a process of making rosé champagne in which color is derived from skin contact rather than by blending some red wine.
🥂 Winery - Roco
I don’t know if Rollin Soles has an official Oregon Sparkling title. Since he has been producing Oregon Sparkling since 1987, the designation of Oregon Sparkling Master is the only suitable title that is appropriate. Rollin also produces Pinot, Chardonnay, and Rose, making Roco Winery a must-visit destination on your next trip out to wine country.
