Tasting Notes
A couple of weeks back, I found an amazing no-knead bread recipe. Substituting regular salt with ghost pepper salt is fan-freakin-tabulous. The spice, I am always talking about the spice, hits you at the very end with a slight kiss. Never would you expect this taste profile in bread, but it’s there! I have a Pinot salt I am trying next!
Last night I broke out a 2016 Mark Bradford Pinot from Domaine Serene. The ghost pepper salt perfectly complimented and enhanced the slight spice finish for this Mark Bradford. The consistency year after year with every DS bottle is there come hell or high water. I did some reflection last night about DS, and if you are curious, sign up for the newsletter going out bright and early tomorrow morning. Link in bio.
