Tasting Notes

Last night I started the week off in style! I decided to finally open one of three bottles of Badnarik Vineyard from Hundred Suns. I have yet to explore the depths of Hundred Suns, but it is a winery at the top of my list. Grant and Renee are the rock stars behind the label, and the 2016 Bednarik Pinot Noir rocked my world! When I briefly spoke to Grant earlier this year about the Bednarik vineyard in Cherry Grove, it was fascinating to hear why this 30-year-old own-rooted vineyard means so much to Grant. It’s still on my list to dive deeper into Bednarik and might make for an episode of my new podcast tentatively scheduled to come out the first of the year. . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter.
