Tasting Notes
What better way to conclude an exhilarating Monday than with exceptional sparkling wine? Today's milestone calls for something truly remarkable from my collection.
Tonight's selection: a distinguished 2015 Lytle-Barnett Brut. For those yet to experience Lytle-Barnett, consider this your official invitation. Their exquisite tasting room in Dundee awaits, where Andy Lytle—one of the most genuine personalities in the industry—has created something special. When visiting, ask for Alexis and mention "A.J sent me!”
Why the celebration? For several years, Oregon's visionary sparkling producers have been strategically positioning our region as the next Champagne. This isn't hyperbole—Oregon's acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay terroir creates the perfect foundation for world-class sparkling wines.
Today marks the official launch of Method Oregon, a collective dedicated to premium sparkling wine production. Each participating winemaker adheres to the traditional Methode Champagnoise with a minimum 15-month tirage aging process, ensuring exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
Method Oregon celebrates this milestone with their inaugural event at Domaine Willamette on July 26th—an opportunity not to be missed. I've maintained discretion until now, but I'm thrilled to finally share this extraordinary occasion.
The event offers tremendous value, particularly the limited VIP experience (only 50 tickets available, which are selling quickly). VIP guests will enjoy:
🥂 An intimate fireside chat with Oregon's sparkling wine pioneers
🥂 An elegant sparkling wine lunch prepared by Domaine Willamette's acclaimed culinary team
🥂 Exclusive interactions with winemakers throughout the day
🥂 Special VIP tasting hour before general admission
Secure your tickets through the link in my bio before they disappear. The future of Oregon sparkling is now!
Cheers to ! 🥂✨
