Tasting Notes
Doing a little prep work for the big turkey day tomorrow. Prime Rib is set along with bread. Somehow I completely flaked on getting cheese for the taters.
I have Steve Martin and John Candy helping me in the background with Planes Trains and Automobiles playing in the background. I was tempted to grab a bottle of the 2014 Ana from Holloran but decided to open up a 2014 Dundee Hills from Holloran instead. I am a huge fan of Ana, but I have to say this Dundee Hills is quite pleasant. Slight earth tones on entry, mid-palate, and savory silky finish. Great way to kick off Thanksgiving!
