2013 Ponzi Avellana Chardonnay Review

I am rapidly approaching the two-year mark for my podcast, and there has only been one instance where I was completely surprised by a wine. I want to express my gratitude to Sara and Dave from Bells Up Winery, @bellsupwinery. I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to taste their Schioppettino. Even though I haven't tried it yet, this wine already holds a special place in my heart. It was Andy Joly's turn to surprise me with a bottle, and I must admit I was incredibly nervous. However, I did know that it was an Oregon Chardonnay, and I could also tell that it was an older vintage based on its golden color. Find all of the links in the bio for the episode! The 2013 Ponzi Avellana Chardonnay was truly outstanding! The beautiful golden color in the glass was a sight to behold. The aroma of this wine was absolutely captivating, to the point where I wanted to keep a glass on my desk all day just so I could savor its scent at various times.
